Meet Millie and Finn’s Irish Goldendoodles
Seven cream-to-red Irish Goldendoodle puppies arrived on October 4: two boys and five girls. They’ll be ready for their new homes on December 2, three weeks before Christmas. These puppies have the same family look as our larger Irish Goldendoodles, in a smaller size, maturing at about 30–42 lbs.
Meet the parents
Millie, the mom, is an Irish Golden Retriever with a gentle, affectionate, loving nature. Finn, the dad, is a red Moyen Poodle who is smart, happy and full of life, with lots of personality. We own both parents, and usually the grandparents too, so we can tell you exactly where your puppy comes from and how they were raised.
See what they’ll look like at going-home age
Millie is sister to Winnie and Aspen, and Finn is brother to Copper, who sired both of their litters. That makes these puppies very close cousins to Winnie’s Irish Goldendoodle litter. Expect the same look and temperament, in a smaller size.

How to choose your puppy
Start with our free application, and we’ll be in touch within 24 hours. A $500 deposit by Venmo or Zelle places you on our waiting list, in the order deposits arrive. As each litter nears picking age, we ask the families on our list whether they’d like to choose from that litter, and whether they’d prefer a boy or a girl. Families who opt in choose on Puppy Picking Day in deposit order, with separate picking orders for boys and girls.
Your deposit is fully refundable and transferable between litters and breeds until you choose your puppy, and there’s no obligation to choose from this litter. If you pass, you can join another litter’s picking order behind the families already planning to choose from it, or keep your place on our list for future litters. Once you choose your puppy, your deposit becomes a non-refundable earnest deposit held for that puppy.
Puppy Picking Days for this litter are November 12 and 13. A couple of days before, we’ll post updated photos of each puppy. On the morning of picking day, we’ll share videos of the puppies in action, so you can see them at their most current. At your scheduled time, we’ll walk you through each puppy by FaceTime or Zoom, or by phone if you’d rather just talk. You can also visit in person and meet them through our window. At this age, our veterinarian advises that the puppies not be handled by visitors, to protect them from accidental exposure to outside germs.
Can’t make picking day? You can choose a day or two early, still in your deposit order. We’re glad to recommend which puppies might suit your family, but the final choice is always yours.
Non-shedding, by design
Our F1 Irish Goldendoodles are non-shedding. Finn is DNA tested and carries the furnishings genes behind the Poodle coat. We’ve worked with these same lines for 25 years, and the testing confirmed what our families have seen all along.
Raised with our family, on a protocol that hasn’t changed
Our children, elementary age to teens, handle every litter daily, starting the week the puppies are born. Each puppy has Early Neurological Stimulation in the first weeks, then socialization following Jan Fennell’s Amichien Bonding method. Both parents are tested through OFA hip, elbow and heart screening, CAER eye certification, and DNA panels.
Going home
Puppies are ready on December 2. If that date doesn’t work for your family, we can usually hold your puppy about a week longer. Families who’d like a head start on training can choose optional 1-, 2- or 4-week board-and-train with Happy Pup Manor in Chicago, who can pick your puppy up straight from us. A 2-week program brings your puppy home trained, just before Christmas. Too far to drive? We deliver by flight nanny or airline pet carrier.
The balance is due at pickup and can be paid by Venmo, Zelle, cash or personal check. If you’re paying by Venmo or Zelle, check your account’s daily limit ahead of time, since some accounts cap daily payments.

“We adopted our beloved goldendoodle, Abby, from you all in June of 2013. Abby was the best dog I’ve ever had, and the most wonderful family dog. My kids were all loved and adored by her at all times. We are so ready to welcome another darling Sunshine Acres puppy to our family.”
