It can be downright overwhelming to sort through the many options as you look for that perfect puppy. What breed is best? Which breeder should I go with and what size, type or personality of puppy is best for me? For our family, the perfect dog has been the Goldendoodle. The Goldendoodle is a very versatile dog that is smart, loyal, enjoys exercise, attention, and family interaction. With their beautiful, low to non-shedding coats and adorable faces, what more could we ask for? We are glad to be a resource for you as you decide what the perfect dog is for your family.
Goldendoodle Puppy
Our family has been raising the Goldendoodles since 2002. Each of our family raised puppies comes with a three year health warranty since we want our puppies’ new families to know how serious we are about standing behind each of the puppies we raise. Before our puppies go to their new homes, they are checked and approved by our veterinarian, and current on their vaccinations. With carefully selected Golden Retriever, Irish Setter and Poodle parents, our hybrid puppies have the benefit of being the offspring of parents who have had health screening and genetic testing before being admitted into our breeding program. Since our whole family in involved in our puppies’ care and socialization, the puppies are used to kids and love to interact with children. There is lots of information on our website about our Goldendoodles. Read through our testimonials page, check us out on the various social media and read/interact with many of our puppies’ families. On social media, Facebook has our highest level of involvement, but we also publish on Twitter and Instagram. Once you have determined that Sunshine Acres is where you will find that perfect puppy, it is time to formalize the relationship by completing an application. The application is totally free and requires no obligation. Complete the application and wait to hear from us, or if the waiting is too much to bear, send us a text or call and we will review the application as soon as possible :) If one of the current Goldendoodle or Irish Goldendoodle puppies shown is your interest, let us know this on your application. If you aren’t ready for a puppy right now, but would like to be notified when we have a puppy that matches your application let us know this,also, as you submit your application.
As a note about the application, we are simply gathering information and looking for committed homes for our puppies. If your application demonstrates your commitment to bringing a puppy into your home, that is primary. Other than that, we use the application to help us help you. It is not shared with anyone else! There are applications we deny. This is done when we can see that our puppies do not match your needs or preferences. Usually, we will respond and let you know that our puppies will not meet a certain parameter so you may reconsider your preferences or agree at that time that a puppy from us is not in your best interest. After the application is approved, it is time to place a deposit.
Reserve Your Goldendoodle Puppy
The deposit to reserve a puppy is $500. If you are placing a deposit on a specific puppy shown on the puppies for sale page, this deposit will reserve that puppy for you. Depending on the puppy’s age, you would be welcome to come and meet your puppy and his or her parents, too. Or, schedule a time to come and pick up your puppy if he or she is ready to go home. Should shipping be needed, let us know the date(s) that work for you to receive your puppy as well as the airport location. As you prepare for your puppy’s homecoming day, start gathering your puppy supplies.
We offer another option for reserving a puppy from Sunshine Acres puppy. This route would be for the families who would like to reserve a puppy that is not yet born. This open option deposit is totally refundable. An “open-option” deposit may be made to secure the opportunity to be notified of each confirmed pregnancy at Sunshine Acres. This means each time we have a litter, we will send you an email to ask you if you’d like to picka puppy from this litter. If you are not yet ready for a puppy, you can wait and be notified on the next litter. Once you decide that the timing is right and a litter is the match for you, we will give all those who have placed “open option” deposits the first opportunity to pick between the puppies in the new litter.
Once you have chosen a specific Goldendoodle or Irish Goldendoodle puppy, the deposit becomes non-refundable. We are looking for the same commitment from you to your chosen puppy that we offer back to you. Sunshine Acres fully understands that plans can change because we live in a dynamic world, so if a delay is necessary, a switch to a later puppy or litter may be arranged.
The Great Big Nice Day
The big day arrives, one that has been eagerly anticipated since becoming a part of the Sunshine Acres family. The puppy food is bought, the crate is ready and the house is puppy-proofed. This is a bittersweet time for us as one by one our puppies leave us to become a part of their new family. While some will be a companion to their new families, others will be involved in service or therapy work. Whatever role they will fill as best friend to their new families, we want you to join us on social media and share with us about your puppy. Then, we get to watch as our Goldendoodle puppies do some amazing things with the help and support of their new families.
