Sunshine Acres is a customer recommended Goldendoodle breeder since 2002.   Described by our customers as professional and responsible, open and transparent, we focus solely on the wonderful Goldendoodle cross and its parents breeds.  Our F1 Irish Goldendoodle puppies, F1B Irish Goldendoodle puppies and Moyen poodles are from lines carefully selected for their superior health and temperament.  We raised precious, snuggly, and beautiful Goldendoodle and Irish Goldendoodle puppies for sale since the days when almost no one knew what a Goldendoodle was!  As experienced Goldendoodle breeders, we know what genetic lines and physical characteristics to look for in raising smart, well balanced Goldendoodle puppies with a coat that is low to non-shedding.   After 20+ years’ experience in raising the sweet natured Goldendoodle, our puppies have developed a distinctive “Sunshine Acres” style.

Our puppies have a purebred poodle for their sire, and their dame is either a purebred Golden Retriever, or a hybrid Golden Retriever/Irish Setter.  A hybrid puppy from tested, purebred parents is the healthiest cross possible due to “hybrid vigor”.  We are committed to continually improving our breeding lines through carefully selecting each parent for the characteristics that results in puppies with the most desirable pet and therapy dog traits.

We welcome families to come and visit our Goldendoodle puppies and their parents.  Since we are NOT an online puppy wholesaling company, each of our puppies and their parents are available for visits here at our home in northwestern Indiana.  Unlike the commercial puppy marketing websites who have never raised a puppy or laid eyes on the dogs they are advertising, we are not reselling puppies from ANY other breeders.  Each of our puppies was born here, grew from babyhood here and will go directly home to their forever family.  Feel free to call or email us.  You’ll be reaching a family who wants to make the puppy picking process memorable for your family, not a puppy marketer.  We are available to help match you with the right puppy, at the right time.

Having families come back to Sunshine Acres as repeat customers to purchase another Irish Goldendoodle is very rewarding to us, as we consider this the ultimate compliment.  As the years go by, a larger percentage of our puppies find their new homes through referrals from our customers to their friends, family, co-workers and neighbors.   What fun it is to see our dogs enjoying their role as “Best Friend” to their new families.  While our puppies are happy to fill the role of family companion, some of our Goldendoodles fill a different role as service dogs, assistance or therapy dogs as well as search and rescue dogs.
